Announcing our reopening plans!

We are excited to announce our potential reopening on September 2nd, 2021!

We are closely monitoring the recommendations of Austin Public Health. Currently, APH does not recommend large groups, indoors, in close contact. Austin is currently still in Stage 2. We will reopen once Austin is declared below Stage 1. At that time, the local conditions will allow us to gather in large numbers indoors, in close contact without masks. We are hoping that the conditions in Austin in September will allow us to open safely!

The health and safety of our community is our top concern. We encourage all social dancers to get vaccinated in order to create a safe healthy environment for this incredible hobby we all love so much. Our ballroom environment is a high risk for spreading COVID. Let’s all do our part to keep each other safe!

As we are all aware, the pandemic can be unpredictable. We are setting this goal of reopening on Sept 2nd, with the understanding that if the conditions do not improve, we will have to wait to reopen.

Our sister organization, Four on the Floor, will be joining us on Sept 2, offering classes in Lindy Hop and Swing. Watch their website for more information to come!

Where do I go to learn? How much are the classes?

What are people saying?

“Whether it’s a live band night or just the DJs, the swing syndicate is the best way to spend a Thursday night. It’s a great time for everyone on the swing dance spectrum, from beginner to advanced. The venue is also gorgeous and the hardwood floors are perfect for dancing.”
