VALENTINE'S DANCE & BENEFIT |
Every Thursday night, the Austin Swing Syndicate holds a dance at the Texas Federation of Women's Clubs. We have the privilege of dancing in one of the best ballrooms anywhere. Come check us out! Don't worry if you don't know any cool moves. We offer a FREE class designed to get you out onto the floor and swinging.
For this Valentine Dance, we're doing something special. The always playful & talented Aunt Ruby's Sweet Jazz Babies will perform!
Plus, our raffle will benefit the victims of the Haiti earthquake through the American Red Cross. Prizes include several swing-era one hour private dance lessons (a $45-50 value) and more!
We will have snacks and light refreshments for your pleasure.
Show up at 8pm for a beginner Swing or Balboa class (free with admission)!

NEW DANCE NIGHT @ THE HIGHBALL
Come out and get your soul dancing fix in swank South Austin. The Highball is one of Austin's awesomest new venues, from vintage bowling lanes to skee-ball to one of the hottest dance floors around. Add in a wrap-around bar offering up vintage cocktails and a restaurant serving up comfort classics, and you've got a whole evening out.
Dancing starts at 9pm and runs until midnight (or later, if you're still pumped up!) Oh, and did we mention, it's FREE? Cause, yeah. No cover. It's completely FREE to attend!
Come out and hear the Syndicate's own DJ Big Papa spinning the the best soul music from the 60s and 70s for your dancing pleasure. Stax. Motown. Dancing. And you!
