High School Night! This Thursday!

School’s out on Friday, April 18th, and we will have special pricing for high school students at our Thursday dance! It’s easy to get started — they can learn the six-count swing basic in a just one hour.

All genders are welcome to lead or follow.  All ages are welcome. No partner or previous experience needed. Pay at the door!

Student Admission: $2.00
Non-member Admission: $8.00
Intro Swing Dance Lesson at 8:15 pm
Social Dancing at 9:00 pm

Since 1998, the Austin Swing Syndicate has hosted a weekly dance at a beautiful historic mansion west of UT — the Texas Federation of Woman’s Clubs at 2312 San Gabriel.

We provide a safe, friendly place to rediscover a dance that started in the Harlem Renaissance during the 1930s.
