December Winter Workshops

December Workshops are here! Join us for our special topic workshops and continue to skyrocket your dance skills and have fun with the Austin Swing Syndicate!

Time: 7:30 to 9:00 PM
Cost: $25 each

SCHEDULE

Dec 5 & Dec 12  – Lindy 2 Choreography & Performance Workshop w/ Kari & Misha

 This two-week choreography and performance class will integrate Lindy 2 level skills, moves, and concepts into a short choreo that you will perform Dec 12th!

Prerequisite: You have completed our Lindy 2 two-month series. This content is curated with our Lindy 2 series class students in mind. If you have completed Lindy 2 with us in October and November, or you are an intermediate, intermediate+ or advanced or higher dancer who can execute the Lindy 2 content, you can sign up for this unique choreography and performance class! If you have not completed Lindy 2 Oct-Nov series and want to participate, please attend the skills assessment Thurs, Dec 5th at 7:15 pm.

Dec 5  – The Shim Sham w/ Keli Hawthorne

Learn the Shim Sham! You know you wanna! This is the popular tap-inspired, Solo Jazz line dance we dance together every Thursday. Swing dancers around the world dance the Shim Sham, and now you will be able to dance it too!

Prerequisite: No experience or partner required!

Dec 12  – Lindy Hop w/ Keli & Thomas

Impress your coworkers at your company holiday party! This Instructor’s Choice content is curated with our Lindy 1 series class students in mind but will help dancers of all levels to refine their skills and level up their dancing.

Prerequisite: Lindy 1. Continue your Lindy Hop journey with Keli & Thomas!
